Dr Eleanor Ng

Eleanor is a paediatric neurologist and general paediatrician. She is a fellow with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians since 2017.

Eleanor graduated from the University of Auckland and worked in New Zealand before moving to Perth in 2008. She trained in paediatrics at Princess Margaret hospital. During which she completed a Diploma in Child Health and a Master of Public Health. She did her post fellowship training in paediatric neurology at Perth Children’s Hospital and later epilepsy and neurology fellow at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. Eleanor also completed a specialist certificate in clinical research (Neuroscience) and is a ASEPA-ASNA-ANZAN certified electroencephalographer.

Eleanor is working at Perth Children’s Hospital as a locum paediatrician with rehabilitation medicine, in the area of movements disorders, acquired brain injury and spinal rehabilitation. She is interested general paediatric neurology.

Neurological conditions like seizures can be a frightening experience for both the child and the parent. Many medical questions can arise afterwards. Eleanor aims to provide good communication, education and follow up in the journey with her patients and families.
